Comfortable four-star hotels with lifts, and the good honest restaurants we eat in ourselves

Suites, Michelin tables, private and after-hours access
Question four
How many of you are travelling?
This changes the rate more than anything else you have chosen. Two of us come whether you are one or eight, so every extra traveller lowers what each of you pays.

When would you like to travel?
Spring — 18 March to 31 May
Tulip season. Keukenhof is open, the bulb fields are in colour, and the whole country is at its busiest and its dearest.
Summer — 1 June to 15 September
Long light evenings, the coast and the lakes at their best, and every terrace open.
Autumn — 16 September to 15 November
Quiet museums, colour through the Veluwe and the Achterhoek, and the year’s most comfortable walking weather.
Winter — 16 November to 17 March
The least expensive time to come. Short days and grey skies, but empty galleries, lit streets and the warmest welcomes.
Christmas and New Year — 23 December to 2 January
The one stretch of winter that costs more, priced apart from the season either side of it so the figure you see is the figure you pay.
